Oh hello there, I’m Chris, Founder & Creative Director of Crafty Little Whale.

I’m also a mother of two, and the creative mind behind every piece you see here.

I design custom gifting and celebration experiences for clients who want their moments to feel thoughtful, personal, and beautifully put together.

My work is rooted in something deeply personal. Growing up, birthdays were the one day I felt truly seen, celebrated, and loved. That feeling stayed with me. When I became a mother, I made a quiet promise to create that same sense of joy, intention, and belonging for my children, and eventually, for others.

Crafty Little Whale began in 2019, after the birth of my first child. Like many parents, I wanted to create meaningful celebrations, but found that truly personalised options were either inaccessible or lacked the level of detail I envisioned. So I started designing my own, combining creativity, storytelling, and thoughtful details to bring each celebration to life.

What began as a personal project has since evolved into a dedicated studio, where every piece is carefully conceptualised and crafted to reflect each client’s vision. From themed party favours to fully coordinated gifting experiences, my focus is always the same, to create something intentional, cohesive, and memorable.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all celebrations. Every milestone deserves to be honoured in a way that feels meaningful, and that’s exactly what I aim to create.
